Dear Alumni, Families, Friends, Sponsors and Supporters:

The St. Rose’s Alumni Association USA, Inc is pleased to invite alumni, families. Friends, sponsors and supporters to the 2019 International Reunion in New York City August 24 – 30, 2019. The theme of the Reunion is “Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow!”. The purpose of this reunion is to strengthen our network and bonds and work together to improve our Alma Mater.

The week kicks off on Sunday, August 25 with an Opening Ceremony at the exclusive LaGuardia Plaza Hotel in Queens, NYC just steps away for LaGuardia Airport and a short trip from JFK Airport. There we are planning a keynote address, entertainment, updates from the St. Rose’s Alumni Chapters and from the Headmistress of St. Rose’s High School, our alumna Mrs. Paula (Yearwood) Hamilton.

The week will include cultural events including a trip to Washington D.C. to tour the National Museum of African American History and Culture and a tour of the United Nations in NYC. There will be a Multi-Cultural evening representing the rich diversity of Guyana and the Diaspora, and a Sports Day & Family Picnic. The week concludes with a Reunion Gala at Russo’s on the Bay where we will honor noteworthy individuals who have contributed to the work of the Alumni Association and St. Rose’s High School.

Our honorees at the Reunion Gala are our alumni Marilyne Trotz (Class of 1959), Enrico Woolford (Class of 1977), Raymond McMillan (Class of 1983), Fatima Karim (Class of 2016) and corporate sponsor MCCG USA Ltd.

A room block has been arranged at the LaGuardia Plaza Hotel; please contact the Reservations Department via telephone at 1-800-692-5420 or 1-718-457- 6300 and be sure to mention “St. Rose’s High School International Reunion Group” in order to get the group rate.
