Project Planning Committee

The Project Planning Committee liaises with the Executive Board, the Board of Governors, the Principal of St. Rose’s High School, and all other groups as necessary to assess, implement, and complete projects that benefit the school and student body.

Projects range from capital improvements to merit awards for the student body.

Featured Project

Adopt a student for Breakfast and/or Lunch

A request has been received from the Headmistress and the Board of Governors for sponsorship for seventy-four (74) students for breakfast and thirty-five (35) for lunch for
the remainder of the Easter term. The association has budgeted for twenty students in this “Sustainer Campaign,” and we need funding for the remaining students.

Donation of the sewing machines

Two generous alumnae, who prefer to remain anonymous, have made donations funding six sewing machines for the Clothing & Textile Department. This valuable contribution came just in time for our students to utilize them during their upcoming CXC and CAPE exams.

The SRHS Boys Basketball Team is proudly showcasing their new uniforms, courtesy of generous donations from alumni Kirk Cramer, Andrew Dalgetty, David Kadan and Lester McRae.

Annual Scholastic Awards

Since 2014, the association has bestowed annual monetary awards and certificates upon students depending on their performance in the CXC and CAPE exams at the Headmistress's discretion.

Global Kids Speak - Competitions and Benefits of Public Speaking

We are delighted to embark on our third year at Global Kids Speak and have thoroughly enjoyed witnessing the personal growth and development of the students in public speaking.

Donation of Steel Pans

The association is excited that the class of '79 generously donated the funds for the replacement and refurbishment of steel pans for the school orchestra.
