MEMBERSHIP REPORT
GENERAL MEETING
APRIL 25, 2020

Our appreciation to the alumni who have paid dues for the fiscal year beginning April 1, 2020. Your dues helps the association to cover our administrative costs and the maintenance of the website. 

The Membership committee has teamed up with the Public Relations committee to improve the Membership page on our website.  For your convenience, in addition to Paypal and credit card payments, you can now pay or renew your membership dues by: 

• Zelle payable to treasurer@strosesalumni.org
• CashApp payable to treasurer@strosesalumni.org and
• Venmo payable to treasurer@strosesalumni.org

Our association is experiencing a problem shared by many others – low membership. We remain steadfast in our pursuit to increase membership. Our first phase is to target alumni to renew their dues and the second phase is to recruit new members. This is indeed a slow process.  We urge all alumni to do their part in soliciting alumni/friends in their circles to become involved and support us by paying their dues. 

At this time, the Committee would like to recognize and thank the Class of 1979 led by Pamela Agard who is personally encouraging her classmates to become a member or renew their membership. 

To date, forty-nine (49) alumni paid dues through March 30, 2020 and thirty-three (33) paid to date through March 30, 2021, an increase of sixteen from our last report in October 2019.

In addition to the progress, as promised, our IT team is presently researching the best option to send out reminders directly from the website.
